The FS horizontal FRP centrifugal pump features a simple design with high standardization, universal interchangeable parts, and easy maintenance. Wetted components use polyvinyl butyral-modified phenolic FRP, compression-molded at high temperature for light weight, high strength, temperature/corrosion resistance—substituting precious metals like Al-stainless steel and titanium.
Seal: WB2 external F4 bellows mechanical seal (reliable, long-life).
Drive/Rotation: Claw-coupled direct motor drive; clockwise rotation from motor end.

Features
Common engineering materials such as ordinary steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and lead are severely corroded by hydrochloric acid and thus unsuitable. Most plastics exhibit excellent corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid. One category of plastics can withstand hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and boiling points, including phenolic, furan, polychlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), perfluoroethylene (PFTE), and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF).
Phenolic resin (FRP) products demonstrate good corrosion resistance to non-oxidizing acids (e.g., hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid), salt solutions, and water. However, they are not resistant to alkalis and oxidizing acids (e.g., nitric acid, chromic acid).
